a.o.mi collective was founded by Candy — a commercial and travel industry leader with over 20 years of experience across airlines, travel-tech and travel partnerships throughout Asia-Pacific.
What sets a.o.mi apart isn't just industry knowledge — it's that Candy has lived and worked in Japan for 10 years, across Osaka and Tokyo, and has travelled extensively throughout the country from the snowy mountains of Hokkaido to the subtropical islands of Okinawa. This isn't destination knowledge learned from research. It's firsthand — the kind that shapes every itinerary we design and every partnership we bring to life.
Before founding a.o.mi collective, Candy held senior leadership roles at some of the travel industry's most recognised names — including Klook, Headout, Peach Aviation (ANA group) and HK Express (Cathay Pacific Group) — building APAC operations from the ground up, launching new markets across Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia, and negotiating partnerships with major global travel and consumer brands. She also spent years in airline ancillary and in-flight products, giving her a behind-the-scenes understanding of how travel truly works — commercially and experientially — that most agencies simply don't have.
That depth of experience shapes everything we do at a.o.mi — from the personalised Japan itineraries we craft for discerning travellers, to the marketing partnerships and destination campaigns we build for tourism boards, attractions and experience operators looking to reach the right audiences.
